Alpha&Z Ltd. was founded in 1997 and is still owned by Ing. Daniel Angelov and Ing. Nikolay Zahariev, two experienced engineering managers from Bulgartabac, a leading Bulgarian state-owned company with over 50 years of history in the tobacco industry. Drawing on their deep expertise in cigarette production and machinery, they set out with a mission to breathe new life into old cigarette production and packing machines through innovative redesign, re-engineering, and recycling processes. Their goal was to offer cost-effective solutions to manufacturers looking to extend the life of their equipment.
In the early years, the company gained a reputation for its ability to refurbish and upgrade outdated machines, enabling clients to maintain production efficiency without the need for costly new investments. However, as demand grew and technology evolved, Alpha&Z expanded its capabilities.
The company shifted its focus to designing and manufacturing brand new, innovative, boutique machines tailored to meet the specific needs of its customers.
This evolution allowed Alpha&Z to develop a niche in crafting customized cigarette packing machines, setting it apart from competitors with its precision engineering and durability approach. The company has specialized in creating comprehensive cigarette hard pack lines, which include state-of-the-art machines for hinged lid packages, stampers, wrappers, boxers, and overwrappers. These machines have been engineered to meet the highest industry standards, offering speed, reliability, and precision.
Today, Alpha&Z is proud to have sold its machines in over 20 countries worldwide, serving both large-scale manufacturers and boutique producers. With a commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, the company continues to grow in the global tobacco machinery market, driving forward the future of cigarette packaging solutions.
